For over 34 years, we have lived hospitality with passion. We look forward to sharing special moments with you! The history of KRONE dates back to 1701 and covers over 325 years of tradition. As one of the most beautiful half-timbered country inns in the region, KRONE is located at the entrance to the northern Black Forest, in the heart of Königsbach-Stein, in the district of Stein. To this day, attentive hospitality and excellent cuisine remain at the center of our focus. Since 1992, KRONE has been successfully managed by Rolf and Christel Lutz. KRONE offers 24 cozy and modern guest rooms. In addition, there are four dining rooms, a banquet hall for up to 90 people, and a beer garden.

Our restaurant is open from Friday to Wednesday. Our restaurant is closed on Thursdays. Hotel guests can check in any day.

For celebrations or memorial services, we adjust our opening hours individually, so please contact us.

Hotel

Our house is a comfortable hotel *** in the center of Stein, offering 24 rooms in an elegant country house style. The rooms are furnished with high-quality natural wood furniture and hardwood floors. The furnishings are cozy, functional, and contemporary.

Here you will find all relevant information about your accommodation and the rooms where you will spend your stay. Please note that all rooms are non-smoking. For solo travelers, our single room is the ideal choice. The tastefully furnished rooms offer you a retreat where you can relax and unwind after an eventful day. 

Double Room

Our double rooms with comfortable beds create a pleasant atmosphere for relaxation after a busy day. If needed, an extra bed can be added, allowing additional guests to be accommodated comfortably in the room. Please inform us in advance if you require an extra bed. 

Family Room 

If you are planning a family vacation and prefer a cozy, homely accommodation over a large hotel, our family room is the perfect solution. Spaciously designed and comfortably furnished, it provides your entire family with a pleasant stay. Here too, adding an extra bed is easily possible. Please let us know in advance if you need an extra bed or a baby cot. 

Bed Sizes 

The beds in the single rooms measure 200 cm in length and 90 cm in width.

Two single rooms have beds measuring 200 cm in length and 140 cm in width.

In the double rooms, the beds are 200 cm long and 180 cm wide.

Room rates valid from 01/01/2024 (without breakfast and per night).
